ReplyAssistant

ReplyAssistant, listed on the App Store as AI Keyboard・ReplyAssistant, is a writing assistant for iPhone and iPad built on the ChatGPT API. It works as a keyboard extension, so its tools are available in any app where the user types, such as chat and email apps. It is meant for people who want help with typos, grammar and wording while writing messages and emails on their phone.

From the keyboard, ReplyAssistant checks typed text for grammatical errors before it is sent, translates text without leaving the chat, paraphrases text for clarity or variety, suggests synonyms, and continues a sentence the user has started. Custom prompts created by the user can also be run directly from the keyboard. A redesigned keyboard in version 2.16 places the writing tools in one row that scrolls horizontally.

Inside the app, the Write tool generates an email or message of any length in a chosen tone, such as formal, informal or friendly. The Reply tool takes a received message or email and drafts a response. ChatPDF lets the user upload PDF files and ask questions about their content. ReplyAssistant is free to download, with a Monthly Pro Subscription at $1.99 and a Yearly Pro Subscription at $19.99.

ReplyAssistant requires iOS 15 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 15 or later on iPad, and it also runs on Macs with an Apple M1 chip or later and on Apple Vision. The interface is available in English and 6 more languages: French, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Traditional Chinese. The developer, Elsayed Hussein, states that no data is collected from the app.
