PhotoTextEdit

PhotoTextEdit is a browser-based AI editor for changing text inside finished images when no design file is available. It replaces or erases words on photos, posters, product shots, menus, screenshots and AI-generated pictures while keeping the original lettering style, perspective and background. Its use-case pages target property listings, e-commerce packaging, restaurant menus, event flyers and app store screenshots.

A user uploads a PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 10 MB, types the original text and its replacement, chooses Fast or Pro mode and generates. A generative inpainting model studies the surrounding letterforms and redraws the new words in matching weight, color and spacing, so no font files are needed. A comparison slider shows the before and after, and credits for failed generations are returned automatically.

Dedicated workflows fix garbled or misspelled text in Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion images, edit labels and timestamps in app screenshots, change dates on flyers, and update prices on menus and product photos. A text remover erases captions, timestamps or stickers and rebuilds the background behind them, and a separate free tool adds new text overlays. Fast mode renders at 1K, while Pro reaches 2K with purchased credits.

Pricing is pay as you go with one-time credit packs and no subscription. Purchased credits never expire and commercial use is included, while new accounts get trial credits that render at 1K. An acceptable use policy bans edits to government IDs, passports, bank statements, official certificates and payment receipts, and any edit meant to deceive. Very small text and dense patterns such as woven fabric may need manual checking.
