Passport Photo & DV Green Card

Passport Photo & DV Green Card is an iPhone and iPad app for producing passport, visa, ID card, driver's license and Green Card photos. It holds the sizes for more than 300 documents in over 110 countries, with the Green Card, Schengen, US and UK visas and the UAE passport one tap away, and accepts a custom size in inches, millimeters or pixels for anything else.

The user picks a document or searches by country, then takes a photo or chooses one from the library and lines up the face with the on-screen guide. A quick on-device check warns about a tilted, off-center or missing face before processing. The background is then replaced with white or a chosen color and the photo is sized to the document. Photos are uploaded only for the background removal step; the developer states that no data is collected.

For the DV lottery, Passport Photo & DV Green Card produces a 2x2 inch square photo on a plain white background and saves it as a 600×600 JPEG under 240 KB, the file the DV entry form asks for. For printing at home or at a photo lab, it lays out 4 or 6 photos on A4, A5, Letter or 4×6 paper as a PDF at real size with cut lines, to be printed at 100% and cut.

Every finished photo is kept in the app with its document and size and can be saved to Photos, shared, printed or deleted with undo. The app is available in 21 languages and is free to try; a weekly or monthly subscription removes the watermark and allows unlimited photos, saving, sharing and print sheets. In-app prices are $4.99 and $7.99 a week and $9.99 and $14.99 a month. It requires iOS 16.0 or later.
