Modish AI

Modish AI is an iPhone app for redesigning rooms with AI. It is meant for homeowners and anyone planning an interior makeover who wants to see a new look before buying furniture or repainting. The app is published by Bennie Thomas and draws on image models from Astria, DALL-E and Midjourney to produce room designs in styles such as Tuscan, Industrial, Farmhouse, Bohemian and Modern.

The user takes pictures of a room, and Modish AI turns the space into a 3D digital canvas. Its Design My Room feature then renders 3D room designs in the chosen style. Using Astria, uploaded room photos become detailed 3D renderings with measurements, and the Snapshot option creates photo-realistic images of a project with lighting, textures and shadows based on the actual space.

Modish AI includes a catalog of tens of thousands of decor items, from furniture to colour palettes, for personalizing a design. Designs can be viewed in augmented reality, where several re-designs can be compared in the real room. Projects can be continued on another platform, downloaded for offline work, and shared with friends, family or professionals for feedback.

Modish AI is free to download with in-app purchases: a Small Package at $2.99, a Medium Package at $4.99, a Large Package at $10.99, and a 25 Usage Package and Premium Plus at $99.99 each. It is designed for iPhone, requires iOS 14.0 or later, is in English only and is rated 4+. It is not verified for macOS.
