Meshing

Meshing is an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac for creating mesh gradients, made by developer Rudrank Riyam and listed on the App Store as Gradient Wallpapers: Meshing. Gradients can be sculpted by hand or generated by describing a mood to Meshing AI, then animated and saved as a wallpaper, photo, video or SwiftUI code. It is used for wallpapers, website and app backgrounds, and colour experiments, and needs no design skills.

Editing in Meshing works on a grid, from 2x2 up to 4x4, that the user shapes by tapping and swiping while changes show in real time. Meshing AI turns a written description into a gradient. A photo-to-gradient tool turns any image into a gradient by extracting its colour scheme. Pre-made templates offer starting points, and favourite gradients are saved to a personal library of colour schemes.

Meshing adds visual effects on top of a gradient: blur for a softer look, a wireframe view that shows the structure of the mesh, and animation. Gradients can also be tried out on text, images and buttons. Finished work is saved as high-quality images or videos, or exported as ready-to-use code, including SwiftUI, so it can be used in other projects.

Meshing is free to download. Meshing AI and saving or exporting images and videos require Meshing Pro, sold as an in-app purchase at $1.99 a week, $1.99 a month, $9.99 a year or $29.99 for lifetime access. The app requires iOS 26.0, iPadOS 26.0 or macOS 26.0 or later and is available in English and 8 other languages, including French, German, Japanese and Turkish.
