ChatKPI

ChatKPI is a Shopify application that works as an AI-powered data analyst, reachable through text messaging and from inside a Shopify store. It tracks sales trends, identifies popular products and explains customer behavior in response to plain-language questions. The tool is built for Shopify store owners who want business data without opening a separate analytics dashboard.

A merchant installs the ChatKPI app in their Shopify store and then asks questions by text message, the same way they would message a friend. ChatKPI uses natural language processing through large language models, including ChatGPT and others, to interpret the question and search the store's data. It then replies with a plain-language answer, a number, or a short list.

ChatKPI can report total sales and order counts for a period, compare growth against a prior period, list best-selling products, calculate average order value, and flag low stock on specific items. Conversations happen by text message at any time, so a store owner can check performance without logging into a separate reporting tool.

ChatKPI is currently in beta and offered on a Free plan at $0 a month, covering sales and trend tracking, customer behavior analysis, inventory analysis and up to 500 questions a month. A paid pricing structure is planned once the first full version of the app is ready for launch.
