ToonMe

ToonMe, listed on the App Store as ToonMe: Anime Cartoon Photo, is an iPhone and iPad app that turns photos into cartoon and anime-style art using AI. It is made for people who want a new profile picture, a playful social post or a reworked selfie, and the developer names cartoon and anime fans, avatar makers and anyone after fun photo edits as its audience.

A user starts with a photo, chooses a look and lets ToonMe transform it. The app applies styles designed to turn portraits into polished cartoon artwork, or anime-inspired effects that produce expressive images. Results arrive in seconds. Finished creations can be kept in the app and shared with friends, family or followers, or used as profile images on social media and messaging apps.

ToonMe's capabilities fall into four groups. Cartoon looks give selfies a different personality and allow experimenting with several creative styles. Anime-inspired art reworks everyday photos into anime-style images. Avatar and profile picture creation produces distinctive portraits for any service that accepts a profile image. Save and share keeps favourite transformations in the app and passes them on to other people.

ToonMe is free to download with in-app purchases: a monthly subscription at $19.99 and a weekly subscription at $7.99. It requires iOS 26.0 or iPadOS 26.0 or later, runs on Apple silicon Macs with macOS 26.0 and on Apple Vision with visionOS 26.0, and is offered in English, Arabic, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Turkish. The app is rated 4+ and may collect purchase data linked to the user's identity.
