StudyAI is an AI tutor and chatbot app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch from ACApplications, LLC. A student points the camera at a problem, or asks by voice, PDF or link, and StudyAI returns a step-by-step explanation rather than just an answer. It covers school work at high school and university level, from algebra and calculus to biology, chemistry, physics, history and literature.

StudyAI runs on OpenAI's GPT-5 and GPT-5 with Vision, so the camera can read problems that are hard to type, such as complex equations or visual chemistry questions, and can summarize textbook pages. Voice recordings, videos, lectures and audiobooks can be analysed, PDFs and slides can be summarized or explained, and the AI can search the web for sources, citations and video explanations.

StudyAI includes an essay builder that drafts essays from PDF, web, voice and video sources together with a base of over 10,000 scientific studies. A compare mode places several models side by side, such as GPT, Grok, DeepSeek and Claude, and Gemini access is also offered. The app has over 1400 AI assistants and characters to chat with, generates and revises images in chat, and lets users share a conversation for a friend to continue.

StudyAI offers unlimited free use with GPT-5 access, requires no account and keeps chats private and encrypted.
