SpongeHome

SpongeHome is an iPhone and iPad reading and learning app that turns a document into a walkable 3D exhibition. A user uploads a PDF, a webpage or plain text, and the app's AI extracts key insights and uncovers connections between the ideas in it. It is meant for readers who want to explore a document as a personal knowledge gallery instead of reading it page by page.

Each gallery follows a single route that starts with core exhibits, moves through questions that grow out of the material, and ends with a galaxy overview of the whole document. This turns reading into an exploration of the ideas in space. The gallery is built automatically, so no layout design or 3D modeling is needed, and it is ready within minutes of uploading a file.

SpongeHome is free to download, with a monthly membership at $0.99 and a yearly membership at $7.99 sold as in-app purchases. The app requires iOS 17.6 or later on iPhone or iPadOS 17.6 or later on iPad, and it is available in English and Simplified Chinese. Contact information may be linked to the user's identity, while user content and identifiers are collected without being linked.
