About Open Knowledge Maps

Open Knowledge Maps operates a transformative discovery platform that enables researchers, students, and practitioners to quickly identify relevant resources. Instead of long, unstructured lists of search results, we create AI-driven, visual overviews of research topics.

Global coverage across disciplines and output types. With our services, individuals and organisations can create interactive overviews based on 400+ million research outputs from all disciplines.

We collaborate with partners across Europe and globally. We have participated in several projects related to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), and actively engage in communities such as the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) and the Barcelona Declaration.

In essence, Open Knowledge Maps provides tools for visual discovery of knowledge, with a focus on transparency, openness, and responsible use of AI, ensuring the tools researchers rely on remain explainable and trustworthy.
