About FreeForge

FreeForge is a free AI video generator that turns a text prompt or an uploaded image into a short video. It is for people making marketing videos, social media clips, educational content, or creative animation projects who want a quick video without software or a paid subscription.

A user enters a text prompt or uploads an image, sets the aspect ratio, resolution, audio, and duration, and generates a video powered by ByteDance Seedance 1.5 Pro, typically in about 60 seconds; the result can then be previewed and downloaded.

FreeForge converts text prompts into video clips, animates static images with realistic motion, supports multiple aspect ratios including 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1, lets a user control motion speed and style, and exports finished videos in MP4, MOV, or GIF format at up to 1080p resolution.

FreeForge works entirely in the browser on desktop, laptop, and mobile devices, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, with no installation required. The free tier allows 5 videos per day with no credit card or signup, and the daily limit resets at midnight UTC.
