About Docparser

Docparser is a document-automation tool that extracts data from Word, PDF, CSV, XLS, TXT, XML and image files and sends it to Excel, Google Sheets and other destinations. It is built for business users in accounting, retail, logistics, legal and similar document-heavy roles who need structured data out of invoices, purchase orders, bank statements and similar paperwork without writing code.

A user uploads a document directly, connects cloud storage such as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or OneDrive, emails it as an attachment, or sends it through the REST API. Docparser then identifies and extracts the data using Zonal OCR, pattern recognition and anchor keywords, guided by preset or custom parsing rules built without coding. The extracted data can be downloaded as Excel, CSV, JSON or XML, or routed automatically to connected applications.

Docparser reads repeating line items and tables, recognizes checkboxes and radio-button responses, and processes barcodes and QR codes during extraction. DocparserAI adds an AI layer that automates rule creation, recognizes handwriting, and includes a ResumeAI Parser for evaluating resumes in varied formats. Pre-built templates cover document types such as invoices, purchase orders, bank statements, shipping notes and contracts, and a visual rule builder handles layouts that have no template.

Docparser offers Starter, Professional and Business monthly plans priced at $39.00, $74.00 and $159.00, plus a custom Enterprise plan, each with a yearly allotment of parsing credits and a cap on the number of parsers that can be created. It connects to thousands of applications such as Zapier, Workato, QuickBooks, Xero and Microsoft Power Automate through its REST API and webhooks, and runs on Amazon Web Services with data encrypted in transit and at rest.
