About Devplan

Devplan is an AI-native product management platform for software teams that turns scattered customer feedback into agent-ready specs and tracks work automatically. It serves product, engineering, sales, customer success, support and marketing teams that want one shared picture of what is being built and why.

Devplan collects requests from calls, tickets and Slack, groups and ranks them by customer demand, then writes a PRD and tech spec grounded in the connected codebase, with every claim linked to its source. Estimates are sized from real code context, and the spec becomes a ticket in Jira or Linear or is handed to AI coding agents through MCP.

A live knowledge graph called Weaver links code, customer requests, tickets and decisions so that status updates itself from real work and risk scoring flags slips early. People can ask Weaver questions in Slack or Teams and get an answer with its sources, and custom dashboards can be requested in plain words and delivered on a schedule by email or Slack.

Devplan starts free with $100 in credits for 3 months, no credit card, and no per-seat charge. A Team plan is $300 a month, with credit packages from $50 a month for 2,000 credits up to $1,000 a month for 40,000 credits, and an Enterprise plan with custom pricing adds self-hosting on GCP or AWS and dedicated onboarding. Free credits expire after 3 months and unused monthly credits do not roll over.

Frequently asked questions

What are credits and how are they used?
Credits are the unit of compute behind every Devplan action; most actions, like a chat message or report, use between 2 and 20 credits.
Is there a per-seat charge?
No, the whole company shares one credit pool so every team can use Devplan without adding seats.
Do the free credits expire?
Yes, the $100 in free credits are valid for 3 months from sign-up, with no credit card needed.
Do unused credits roll over?
No, monthly credits refresh each term.
How do you handle security?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, source permissions decide who can see what, and data is never used to train Devplan or third-party models.
Do I need Jira or Linear with Devplan?
No, Devplan works with Jira and Linear but they aren't required.
Can AI coding agents build from Devplan specs?
Yes, through MCP, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex read the spec, customer evidence and past decisions from Devplan.
