Capix is an AI sourcing copilot that finds companies and people by searching across fragmented sources such as industry reports, LinkedIn and Google, then aggregates and enriches that data into a single, customizable platform. It is built for teams who need to research competitors, find acquisition or investment targets, or build prospect lists instead of piecing information together by hand. The product is backed by Y Combinator and is currently in private beta.
Instead of filters, a user describes what they are looking for in plain English, such as cybersecurity companies that raised a Series A in the last six months with 20 or more employees that use Stripe, and Capix finds matching companies and people, reasons about fit, and builds a structured dataset the user can refine and reuse. Existing CRM records, lists or spreadsheets can also be uploaded so Capix enriches them and fills gaps.
Capix continuously aggregates and enriches signals from company websites, investor reports and job postings to keep profiles current, and covers private companies, public companies, private equity firms and limited partners. Users can also define their own proprietary datasets and sourcing logic on top of the platform.
The product is aimed at investment banks and M&A teams building buyer lists, sales and revenue teams identifying target accounts, market researchers benchmarking sectors, and investors discovering funds or companies that match a strategy. Access currently requires requesting an invitation, as Capix is in private beta with limited spots available.
