About Backbuild

Backbuild is a combined workspace and set of AI Virtual Workers for running a small business. It bundles mail, contacts, calendar, chat, support tickets, documents, slides, sheets and finances into one account, then adds named workers such as a bookkeeper, a customer support agent and a backend developer. The product targets solopreneurs, entrepreneurs and start-ups, and small businesses that want routine office work handled without hiring staff for it.

A person hands a task to a Virtual Worker, such as Ines Duarte the bookkeeper or Nova Reyes the customer support agent, and the worker moves through the relevant apps to finish it. A bug report becomes a ticket; a developer worker writes and tests the fix inside its own container, and the change waits for a person's review before it goes live. Workers keep a shift and report back after each step.

Backbuild Finances keeps a double-entry ledger with invoices, bills, expenses, online payment links and automatic reminders for late invoices. Backbuild Containers launch on-demand cloud computers with a terminal, a VS Code editor and a graphical desktop for developer workers. SaaS Builder packages a project into a billed, multi-tenant product with pricing and onboarding on the owner's own domain. A help desk routes customer tickets through saved views, boards and a workflow engine, with Virtual Workers drafting replies for review.

Backbuild runs in a web app and a native desktop app for Windows and macOS, with Linux planned, plus a mobile app for Miles mileage tracking. Virtual Workers run on usage credits or on a linked account with Claude Code, Codex, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Synthetic, Grok, Gemini or Fireworks AI. Backbuild Finances and the help desk are free for teams up to 50 people, and sign-up needs no credit card.
