Astron Agent

Astron Agent is an enterprise-grade, commercial-friendly Agentic Workflow development platform that integrates AI workflow orchestration, model management, AI and MCP tool integration, RPA automation, and team collaboration features. It targets organizations that want to build scalable, production-ready intelligent agent applications, built on the same core technology as the commercial iFLYTEK Astron Agent Platform.

Deployment runs through Docker Compose or, for Kubernetes environments, Helm charts still under development. After cloning the repository and configuring environment variables, a single command starts the authentication gateway, application frontend, and backend services, which become reachable at local addresses such as the nginx-proxied frontend. Astron Cloud also offers a ready-to-use hosted environment for creating and managing agents without self-hosting.

Astron Agent natively integrates intelligent RPA to connect internal and external enterprise systems, giving agents a complete loop from decision to action, and ships a ready-to-use tool ecosystem drawn from the iFLYTEK Open Platform's AI capabilities. It offers flexible large-model access, from quick API-based connections to one-click deployment of on-premises Model-as-a-Service clusters, and is deeply compatible with various industry models and tools through custom extensions.

Astron Agent is released under the Apache 2.0 License, allowing free use, modification, distribution, and commercial use without restriction. It is part of the iFlytek Astron open-source ecosystem alongside SkillHub, a self-hosted agent skill registry, and AstronRPA, an agent-ready RPA suite that can be called directly from inside Astron Agent. The project is listed in the CNCF Landscape.
