Artly AI is a web app for creating and editing images with AI. It combines 15+ tools and 80+ art styles, covering text to image, photo to art, character art and a set of photo editing tools. Artly AI is made by PhotoFairy LLC and is aimed at people without design training, creators, small businesses and studios that need art pictures, gifts, prints or social media content.

Users describe an image in text or upload their own photos, pick an art style and an aspect ratio, and generate the result. Character Art uses reference photos of people or pets to place them in a chosen style. Most AI jobs cost 1 credit, vectorization costs 0.1 credits and the basic editor is free. Jobs can run in the background in parallel, and edits can be stacked in sequence on one image.

The editing tools include background removal and replacement, Magic Eraser for removing objects, Magic Fill for inserting objects, Magic Expand for extending an image past its borders, upscaling to high resolution, and Clarity Restore for blurry or old photos. Edit by Asking changes a picture from a text description. Vectorize converts images to SVG or PDF for printing and laser engraving, and a scan cleanup tool straightens scanned pages.

Artly AI has a free plan with 5 bonus credits at sign-up and 3 free AI art pictures per day, which are posted to a public gallery. Paid plans are Plus at $15/mo for 500 credits, Pro at $25/mo for 1,000 credits with a commercial license, and Max at $50/mo for 3,000 credits; yearly billing saves 20%. Top-up credits never expire, payments go through Stripe, and data is stored on servers in the United States.
