Alova

Alova is an iPhone news app that covers technology and artificial intelligence. It is published by Gamifytech Solutions Private Limited and listed in the News category of the App Store. Alova condenses tech and AI stories into short summaries, lets readers ask an AI questions about a story, and links each summary to the full article. It is meant for readers who want to follow developments in the field quickly.

Reading in Alova works through swipeable cards. Each card holds a short summary of one news story, and a swipe moves on to the next headline. Tapping a summary opens the full article. When a reader has a question about a piece, the integrated AI answers it in short, clear terms to give more context. Trending topics are shown prominently so readers can see what is being discussed.

Beyond the feed, Alova lets readers bookmark articles for offline reading and share stories with other people. A curated newsletter, Alova Weekly, summarizes the major tech and AI developments of each week, and an archive keeps past editions available at any time. The developer's App Store privacy label states that no data is collected from the app.

Alova is free to download, with a Premium in-app purchase at $1.99. It is built for iPhone and iPod touch and requires iOS 14.0.0 or later. It also runs on Macs with an Apple M1 chip or later and macOS 11.0 or later, although it is not verified for macOS, and on Apple Vision. The app is available in English only and is rated 4+.
