VoiceRec

VoiceRec is a voice and audio recorder for iPhone and iPad that uses AI to transcribe recordings into text. It records meetings, lectures and presentation rehearsals, then turns the speech into searchable text that can be copied or shared. It is aimed at people who need a written version of what was said without typing out transcripts by hand. VoiceRec is developed by Beatcode Srl.

Recording runs in the background, so other apps can stay open while VoiceRec captures audio. After a recording, the AI transcription converts the voice into text in seconds. Users can search transcribed text for words to find the passages they need, copy transcripts into other apps and documents, and share both audio files and transcripts with friends and colleagues.

Recordings can be locked with Face ID or Touch ID to keep them private. They sync across iOS and iPadOS devices, and custom tags help classify recordings and find them again later. VoiceRec supports accessibility options such as differentiate without color alone, sufficient contrast and reduced motion, and its interface is available in English, Italian and Spanish.

VoiceRec is free to download with in-app purchases: a monthly subscription at $8.99, an annual subscription at $49.99 and a lifetime PRO purchase at $99.99. The app requires iOS 17.6 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 17.6 or later on iPad, and it also runs on Macs with an Apple M1 chip and on Apple Vision. User content, usage data and diagnostics may be collected without being linked to identity.
