Try AI Editor

Try AI Editor is a free AI photo editor that runs in the browser. You upload an image, describe the change you want in ordinary English, and download the result. Sign-in is one click with Google, there is no watermark on the output, and no paid tier holding the useful part hostage. It went live in July 2026.

Your image is read into memory by our server and sent to a third-party image service together with your instruction. The default model is Nano Banana 2 Lite; GPT Image 2 is configured as an alternative. Generation is asynchronous, so the page polls for the task to finish and then streams the finished image back through our own server rather than sending you to the provider's URL.

Free credits come with a free account — a welcome bonus when you sign up, and credits you can claim each day after that. The old visitor allowance, which needed no account, stopped refilling on 17 September 2026. We changed this because an allowance that renewed every day cost the project more every day it existed, and the honest version of "free" is one we can still afford next month.

Who builds it, where it runs, and how edits are delivered: Ask questions to a single inbox; outputs are streamed back through the site; browser stores edits locally; no image is kept on the server after download. The project is independent and self-funded, built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel.
