Templix

Templix, listed earlier as Reel Maker & AI Templates, is an iPhone app from Leapixel for making short videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok. It supplies a collection of templates linked to trending Instagram audio, plus music, stickers, frames, filters and editing tools, and uses AI for subject cutouts and image upscaling. It is aimed at content creators who want to produce a video in minutes without editing experience.

The user picks a template, adds photos or clips, and Templix assembles the video to the beat of the chosen track. Music can come from the latest hits, trending Instagram sounds, the user's own files or iTunes, and can be trimmed to fit. Templates can be edited, clips trimmed, and custom templates created and saved for reuse. New templates are added every week to follow current sounds and styles.

A text editor offers fonts, text styles and animations, and the asset library includes frames, stickers and aesthetic filters. The Cutout Effect removes or isolates subjects from photos and videos, and AI Image Upscale sharpens image detail. Templix Pro, which starts with a free trial, includes 500+ templates, editing of all templates, clip trimming, beat-matched templates, weekly new templates, custom templates, music from iTunes and music trimming.

Templix Pro costs 14.99 USD per week or 39.99 USD per year with auto-renewal, and a lifetime package costs 99.99 USD; the App Store also lists euro-priced purchases from 9,99 € to 99,99 €. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. The app runs only on iPhone, requires iOS 15.0 or later, is in English, and identifiers and usage data may be used to track users across other companies' apps.
