RetroFix

RetroFix is an AI photo restoration app for iPhone and iPad that cleans up old, faded, damaged or black-and-white photographs. It removes blur and scratches, restores lost quality and adds colour to monochrome images so that old prints look clear again. It is made for anyone with old photos to rescue, and the tools are designed so that anyone can use them.

The user picks a photo and RetroFix's AI processes it in seconds, with an easy comparison against the original. The restoration model removes blur, restores photo quality and improves clarity; the colorizer adds realistic colours to black-and-white pictures; and the repair tools fix underexposed shots, adjust lighting, enhance sharpness and remove scratches, discolouration and years of wear. The same tools cover everything from minor adjustments to full restorations.

RetroFix is free to download, shows advertising, and sells PRO subscriptions as in-app purchases. The Old Picture Restore Weekly PRO plan is priced at $9.99, with a Week+Trial variant at the same price, and the Annual PRO plan at $49.99, with $11.99 weekly and $59.99 annual variants also listed. Subscriptions follow the standard Apple Terms of Use, and some purchases can be shared with a family group through Family Sharing.

RetroFix requires iOS 15.5.0 or later on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, runs on Apple Vision with visionOS 1.0 or later, and installs on Macs with an Apple M1 chip and macOS 12.4 or later. The interface is available in English and 29 other languages. It is a 206.3 MB download rated 4+. Identifiers may be used to track the user across other companies' apps, while purchases, user content and usage data are collected without being linked to identity.
