ProWritingAid

ProWritingAid provides a complete toolkit for writers to plan, write, edit, and publish. It supports novelists, journalists, and other writers by offering planning tools, writing tools, editing capabilities, and publishing guidance to help move a manuscript from idea to finished work. The product emphasizes feedback on real manuscripts and a structured approach to building writing habits and mindset.

The tool combines planning tools to shape ideas into a story, writing tools to maintain momentum, and editing tools to polish text. It also offers story critique, line editing, and publishing guidance, along with an emphasis on a community and learning resources. The ProWritingMethod frames its approach around craft, habits, and mindset to support writers through practice and consistency.

The platform integrates with various writing apps and supports desktop and web use. It provides Story Canvas and Outline Crafter for pre-writing planning, plus Plot Analysis and Chapter Critique for revision and development. The service emphasizes data privacy and states that text is used only to improve writing and is not used to train AI systems.
