About PicWav

PicWav is a browser-based photo-to-video tool that turns a single still image into a short animated clip. It offers a free PicWav Fast option alongside third-party video models including Kling, Hailuo, MiniMax H3, Veo 3.1, Seedance and Wan. It is aimed at creators who want to animate portraits, pets, products, travel shots, artwork and old family photos for social posts, ads and personal keepsakes.

A user uploads a JPG, PNG or WebP image, describes one movement in a text prompt, then picks a model, duration, aspect ratio and resolution. The credit cost shows before generation starts, and the finished clip plays on the same page. Motion recipes load a tested prompt with a suggested model and settings, which the user applies to their own photo. Generation runs in the cloud and needs an account created through Google sign-in.

Presets are grouped into camera moves, transformations, personal memories, pets, couples, travel and ads, with examples such as a 360-degree bullet-time orbit, an earth zoom reveal, a particle dissolve, anime-to-live-action and a luxury product orbit. Portrait presets add breathing, blinking and smiles, and scanned old prints can be animated too. Paid plans give watermark-free HD downloads, and credits are returned automatically when a generation fails or times out.

New accounts get 100 welcome credits after Google sign-in, valid for 30 days; free videos carry a watermark, stay stored for three days and are for personal use only. Starter, Pro and Max subscriptions give 4,000, 8,000 and 16,000 credits a month, with yearly billing at half price, and one-time credit packs hold 3,000 to 19,500 credits. Subscription credits do not roll over, and paid plans store videos for 30 to 180 days.
