Petey - AI Chat for Watch

Petey runs as its own Watch app and provides a complication for the watch face, allowing a question to be asked and an answer read right on the wrist. It supports voice or scribble input on the watch and can scroll long answers with the Digital Crown, with audio output of answers if desired. Petey conversations stay in sync across Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad, and the app can send an answer to the phone to use in another app.

Petey is available on iPhone and iPad as well, and conversations remain synchronized across all three devices. It supports Full conversation history on the iPhone and iPad, and Live Activity while Petey is thinking so users can continue other tasks. Shortcuts exist to open Petey or ask questions from a shortcut or Siri, and links mentioned by Petey can be opened with one tap.

Petey supports using your own OpenAI API key by adding it in settings; users pay OpenAI, not Petey, and can pick from models allowed by their key. It is free to use with a monthly limit of messages and has a Premium tier that removes the limit and unlocks more capable models.

Petey’s privacy note states that conversations are stored on the device and in iCloud and it does not sell or share data. It provides support contact information and links to its FAQ, terms, and privacy pages.
