Paperclip is an open-source orchestration app for teams of AI agents at work. It lets a person bring their own agents, assign business goals, and track work and costs for a whole team of agents from one dashboard. It is built for people who coordinate multiple AI agents such as OpenClaw, Codex, Claude and Cursor and want them managed like a company rather than a pile of scripts.
Paperclip runs as a Node.js server with a React user interface. A person defines a goal, hires agents into roles such as CEO, CTO, engineer, designer or marketer using any model or provider, reviews the proposed strategy, sets a budget, and starts the team; work and costs are then tracked from a single dashboard.
Paperclip provides an agentic task manager with approval and review gates, an org chart defining roles and permissions for humans and agents, and a Skill Studio for training and evaluating agent skills. It supports a cross-provider runtime for any model or agent, company and project budget controls with threshold alerts, scheduled routines, and connections to services such as GitHub, Notion and Railway or a custom MCP server.
Paperclip is open source under the MIT license, deployable as a single instance that can host multiple organizations with separate tasks, agents and permissions. It can be monitored and managed from a phone as well as a desktop dashboard. A hosted Paperclip Cloud offering is in development, with sign-up currently limited to a waitlist rather than general availability.
