Metronome - Record Beat Tempo is a metronome app for iPhone and iPad made by Marat Khanbekov. Beyond keeping time, it records playing sessions and gives AI feedback on how precisely the musician plays against the beat. It is built for musicians at any level who practise daily and want a record of their sessions, and the interface is kept deliberately minimal so that practice, not the app, takes the attention.
The player sets a tempo anywhere from 20 to 220 bpm, or taps the beat and lets the app detect the tempo, and chooses one of 3 click sounds or a silent mode. Italian tempo names are shown alongside the number. The metronome keeps running in background mode while other apps are open. A session tracker stores each practice session, and a recording can be exported and shared with friends.
The app is free on the App Store with no in-app purchases listed; any subscription is managed in Apple ID account settings. It requires iOS 15 or later, runs on iPad and on Macs with an M1 chip or later, and is available in English, German, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Spanish. User content, identifiers and usage data may be collected, but not linked to the user's identity.
