About massCode

massCode is a free and open source developer workspace for code snippets, markdown notes, HTTP requests, calculations, and quick developer utilities. Instead of scattering everyday work across an editor, a notes app, an HTTP client, a calculator, and a handful of websites, you keep it in focused Spaces inside one local-first desktop app. Switch between Spaces using the rail on the left side of the app, or use the Command Palette to jump to spaces, content, and actions from the keyboard.

massCode is a local-first desktop app that organizes code, notes, HTTP workflows, math, and drawings in one workspace. Users navigate between Code, Notes, HTTP, Math, Drawings, and Tools, and manage content with a consistent three-column layout. The app supports searching, filtering, and keyboard-driven navigation to access code, notes, and requests without relying on cloud services.

massCode provides a built-in set of spaces and tools including code snippets, notes, HTTP client functionality, a math notebook, drawings, and miscellaneous developer utilities. These spaces are designed to be accessible from a single interface, with features like a command palette and graph-based linking to connect related content across notes and snippets.

massCode emphasizes offline operation and local storage. It highlights the ability to store a workspace locally, with options for syncing via iCloud, Dropbox, Syncthing, Git, or other methods, allowing work to stay on the user’s machine or move between devices as configured.
