Gling

Gling is a desktop video editing tool designed for YouTube creators. It uses artificial intelligence to streamline the editing process, automatically removing bad takes, silences, and filler words so creators can spend less time editing and more time producing. The product presents itself as a go-to partner for content creation, offering workflow optimization and time savings while maintaining a focus on polished outputs. It emphasizes ease of use and a straightforward editing experience for individual creators and teams alike.

Gling operates by having the user upload raw recordings, after which its AI transcribes the content, analyzes the text, and identifies unwanted sections. Users can review and refine AI edits manually, adjusting the text or clips in the timeline. The tool supports video and audio files for voiceover integration and provides export options that integrate with popular editors. The workflow centers on AI-assisted editing with optional manual control for precision.

The platform highlights several capabilities, including removing bad takes, silences, and filler words; an AI text-based trimmer; noise removal; auto captions and subtitles; auto framing; and generation of YouTube titles and chapters. It emphasizes export flexibility, allowing direct MP4/MP3 exports or timeline exports to editors like Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere, with optional XML support for other suites.

Gling plans emphasize desktop availability and various pricing tiers with different limits and features. It frames limits in terms of paid plans, monthly versus annual terms, watermarked exports on free options, and the availability of premium support on higher tiers.
