About Edit in PPT

Edit in PPT turns images, PDFs and NotebookLM decks into editable PowerPoint slides. It rebuilds artwork and text as native objects and lets users refine results with plain-language edits, using a credit system that includes free monthly credits.

The tool supports NotebookLM slides, images, and PDFs, and can generate slides from plain text. It preserves slide order, converts headings and paragraphs into text boxes, and preserves 16:9 page size when converting from NotebookLM.

Users can edit slides through chat, perform translations, and adjust data in charts and tables. Outputs can be downloaded as PPTX or opened in Google Slides, with a focus on creating an editable, presentation-ready deck.

Security and account controls are highlighted, including automatic cleanup of uploads after delivery and the option to delete data and accounts at any time. The service uses GPT-6 and other vision-capable models for conversions.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert NotebookLM slides into editable PowerPoint?
Yes. NotebookLM draws every slide as a flat image, so its text is not editable in either the PDF or the PowerPoint download. Use the NotebookLM to PPT tab: upload the slide deck exactly as NotebookLM gave it to you, and each page comes back as a slide that keeps the original artwork as its background with every heading, paragraph, table and chart rebuilt as a native, editable PowerPoint object on top.
What files can I upload?
Images (PNG, JPG, WEBP, BMP, TIFF and HEIC) and PDFs in the Image to PPT tab, and NotebookLM slide-deck downloads as PDF or PPTX in the NotebookLM to PPT tab. You can also skip files entirely and generate a slide from plain text in the Text to PPT tab.
What if my deck has more than 50 slides?
Split it into batches, convert each, and combine the resulting decks in PowerPoint.
Which AI model does the conversion use?
Edit in PPT runs on GPT-6 along with other vision-capable models — see Edit in PPT Is Now Powered by GPT-6.
