About CloudCLI

CloudCLI is a cloud development environment built for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor CLI, Codex and Gemini CLI. It is a third-party service, not an Anthropic product, aimed at developers who want a coding agent to keep working after they close their laptop, and at teams who want every member to start from the same environment setup.

A user opens CloudCLI from a phone, browser or an integration like Linear, Jira or the API, and the environment spins up as an isolated container with the chosen coding agent pre-installed. The session can then be continued from VS Code or Cursor over SSH, with files, git history and running processes exactly as they were left.

Each environment runs as a real container rather than a sandbox, with 2 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM on the Starter tier, and keeps running in the cloud through reboots, sleep or a lost connection, so long jobs such as tests, refactors or migrations continue unattended. Teams can share environments, MCP servers and configuration files such as CLAUDE.md across projects while each developer keeps an isolated container.

CloudCLI is built on the open-source CloudCLI Open Source project (the claudecodeui repository), licensed under AGPL-3 with 13k GitHub stars and 1.7k forks, and can be self-hosted with a single npx command. The hosted version starts at €7/month for the Hobby plan, with Growth, Team and custom Enterprise plans above it, and every new account gets a free trial with no credit card required.
