Cicadas

Cicadas is an independent AI video studio that gives one account access to 12 leading video models, script-to-video tools for narrated and presenter-style ads, and editing tools for a user's own footage. It is built for creators and small brands, including cafés, jewelry sellers, pet owners and product photographers, who want a short video from a text prompt, a photo, or a clip they already have.

A user starts from a task, such as text to video, image to video or a product video maker, or opens a specific model page and reuses the recipe of a real recorded example. Every generation and edit shows its exact credit cost before anything is confirmed, drawing on one shared credit balance across every tool, and a failed generation returns its credits automatically.

Cicadas supports text-to-video, image-to-video, photo animation and video-with-sound generation across models such as Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0, plus script-to-video tools that turn pasted words into a captioned, narrated MP4. Editing tools cover object removal, background removal, upscaling, extension, lip sync and motion control for footage a user already owns, and a set of free tools run entirely in the browser with no AI credits used.

New accounts get 1 free video, a single watermarked 5-second, 480P clip. Paid use runs on credit packs, such as $15 for 1,500 credits valid 365 days, or monthly plans such as Pro at $29/mo for 4,000 credits, with no subscription required to use the service. Export is limited to 20 queued MP4 requests per 24-hour period per account, and buying credits does not raise that limit.
