Calorific

Calorific, listed on the App Store as Calorie Tracker - Calorific, is an iPhone app for nutrition tracking. A user photographs a meal and the app returns an estimate of its calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats and other nutrients. It is aimed at people counting calories, watching macros or simply curious about what is on their plate, and it replaces manual entry with photo-based logging.

Calorific uses AI to estimate the nutrition of a meal from a picture plus a few details the user fills in. When a packaged food has a barcode, the app detects it from a photo, fetches real nutrition information and uses that data for a more accurate estimate. A search feature covers items already eaten or added by hand, and a personal health plan is created from the user's body, goals and lifestyle preferences.

A calendar view shows daily intake with the nutrition of each meal, entries can be edited, a week strip switches between days, and meals can be added to past days. Reminders fire at breakfast, lunch and dinner and skip when a meal is already logged. A meal or a whole day can become a story card in one of five designs. On iPhone 16, the Camera Control button or a lock screen widget logs meals from the lock screen.

Calorific is free to download with in-app purchases listed at Monthly $5.99, Monthly $9.99, Yearly $49.99, Annual $59.99 and Annual $99.99, and subscriptions may be shared through Family Sharing. The app is only for iPhone, requires iOS 26.0 or later and is offered in English. Purchase and diagnostic data may be collected but is not linked to identity. The developer notes that estimates are not precise dietary advice and that a healthcare professional should be consulted.
