Beauty.AI

Beauty.AI is a software-based contest platform that hosts an international beauty competition judged by artificial intelligence. It invites humans to participate by submitting selfies through an app, and invites data scientists to contribute by submitting their algorithms to a robot jury. The project integrates human input with machine evaluation to explore perceptions of beauty and health in facial attributes.

The process centers on a workflow where a human downloads the App, a selfie is taken, and a robot jury examines the photo to decide the outcome. The platform provides a path for participants to engage directly via the App and for researchers to contribute their models to the Robot Jury for evaluation.

The project presents automated evaluation criteria and a judged outcome driven by AI. It frames beauty in terms of perceived attributes and health indicators as processed by deep learning and symbolic learning approaches, with aims to advance understanding of automated aesthetic assessment.
