About Awesome Claude Prompts

Awesome Claude Prompts is a free, unofficial prompt builder for people who already use Claude and want a well-structured prompt for a common task without writing it from scratch. The user chooses a task, fills in a few fields, and copies the assembled prompt into a Claude conversation or into Claude Code. Templates cover code, writing, analysis, and work and learning tasks.

Awesome Claude Prompts is a static tool with no accounts, no database and no server-side code, and it never calls a model. The prompt is put together in the browser, and what the user types is kept only in the tab's session storage so a reload does not lose it. Every template places long pasted material first inside a named tag such as document or diff, then the task and instructions.

The library has 64 templates, including 52 Claude Code templates, each on its own page. Tasks range from summarizing a document, editing a draft and extracting data to JSON, to reviewing a pull request, writing tests first, investigating a production incident or connecting a tool to Claude Code with MCP. Each template page explains why the prompt is shaped the way it is, with a fictional example input, follow-ups and common mistakes.

Awesome Claude Prompts is free to use. The templates were written with AI assistance, are based on Anthropic's public prompt engineering documentation, and link to the documentation that supports their structure; they have not been benchmarked. The tool does not run Claude, show model output, store prompts on a server, or offer ratings or comments, and it uses no analytics or advertising.

Frequently asked questions

Does Awesome Claude Prompts run Claude?
No. It assembles a prompt to paste into Claude; it does not run Claude, show output or store prompts on a server.
Where does the template guidance come from?
From Anthropic's public prompt engineering documentation; the templates were written with AI assistance and are not benchmarked.
