About AuthorVoices

AuthorVoices is an AI audiobook narration platform for independent authors and publishers. It turns a manuscript into a narrated audiobook using a catalogue of 165 curated AI narrators in 10 languages, or a private clone of the author's own voice made from about 30 seconds of speech. AuthorVoices is part of Archieboy Holdings, and its sister company SelfPublishing.pro handles distribution of finished audiobooks to retailers.

An author uploads an EPUB or DOCX file, pastes chapters in, or imports a book from SelfPublishing.pro or BookBud.ai, then picks a narrator after previewing voices on a sample paragraph. AuthorVoices narrates section by section or renders the whole book in the background, usually within minutes. Quick Fix re-narrates a single passage without rebuilding the chapter, and Quality Control checks the audio against the manuscript before MP3 and M4B export.

Finished audiobooks can be distributed to over 50 retailers, including Apple Books, Google Play, Kobo, Spotify and Storytel, with no upfront fees, and authors keep 85% of net royalties. Audible and Amazon are excluded because they do not accept AI narration. A paid Distribution Ready Fix service re-masters complete audiobooks to retailer specs, and an AI support agent named Riley answers questions and passes cases to the team.
