ASKWay

ASKWay is an AI assistant that runs as a sidebar in the Chrome and Edge browsers. It lets users chat with AI, translate text and summarize pages while browsing, without switching tabs. It is meant for people who read, write and research on the web and want access to several AI models, including GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and Llama, from one place.

The sidebar opens next to any web page and uses the current page as context for questions. Users can switch models in the middle of a conversation, or send one question to several models and compare the answers side by side. Deep-thinking and research modes are available for longer questions, and the higher plans add a Deep Research feature that gathers sources for academic research, industry analysis and planning.

For reading, ASKWay translates selected text into more than 50 languages while keeping the original formatting, with a side-by-side bilingual view, a built-in dictionary and read-aloud. It turns long articles into outlines and YouTube videos into timestamped chapters. Paid members also get multi-image upload and generation, multi-document upload, a web app, advanced data analysis, PDF scanning with OCR, and chat history kept for 3 years.

ASKWay has a free tier with daily credits and no credit card required. Paid plans are priced per year: Pro at $29 with 10,000 credits a month, Max at $79 with 33,000 credits and a high-speed stable channel, and Ultra at $159 with 72,000 credits and exclusive models such as o3 Pro and Perplexity DeepResearch. Credits apply across models, with some models and Deep Research reserved for the higher plans.
