AppWeaver

AppWeaver is a software engineering platform that adds architectural guardrails to AI-assisted and agentic code generation. It is aimed at development teams building enterprise software who want the speed of AI tools without piling up technical debt, defects and rework.

AppWeaver is organised in three levels. The Foundation level provides a complete starter project with Pragmatic Clean Architecture, Spec-Driven Development and Domain-Driven Design built in from day one. The Framework level adds cohesive, swappable enterprise building blocks so teams can concentrate on domain logic and features instead of infrastructure plumbing. The Platform level brings AI-powered development, pairing any LLM with AppWeaver's guidelines for agentic code generation.

The platform enforces architecture so each line of AI-generated code stays refactorable, with consistent patterns and built-in observability. AppWeaver Labs, the research arm, works on an Agentic Development Life Cycle covering prompt engineering, RAG, multi-agent orchestration, LLMOps, observability, infrastructure as code, GitOps and continuous delivery with AI guardrails, along with bias mitigation, explainability, security and cost governance.

AppWeaver states that its approach gives 2–3× sustainable delivery speed, changes that take hours rather than weeks, and 40-60% lower long-term total cost of ownership through less rework and easier upgrades. Domain logic is meant to stay protected for a decade, and the platform is built for enterprise greenfield and product work. Human judgement stays at the centre, defining the right software and guiding how it is built.
