Anycrap is a web toy that is an online store for things that do not exist. A visitor types the name of any product, and AI writes the listing: a picture, a description, specifications and a price nobody should pay. Nothing is for sale; the store exists for fun, and Anycrap counts 127,419 invented products so far.
Each new product gets its own public listing that anyone can open and share, with description, specifications, reviews and ownership tabs, and the best ones make the shelves in categories such as Weird Tech Stuff and Snacks From Outer Space. Visitors can add items to a wishlist or cart and place a pretend order: no payment is taken, nothing is delivered, and a receipt can be printed. A Surprise me button opens a random listing.
Visitors can leave comments on any product under their own name, and a live activity feed shows pretend orders as they happen. Anycrap also publishes an API for developers and a statistics page. Anycrap is free to use, with no payment at any point, and it is meant as entertainment rather than a shopping service.
