About AnimoX

AnimoX is a desktop app that turns a single typed sentence into a finished narrated explainer video, with animation, voiceover, subtitles and music, in about three minutes. It is made for teachers, students and science or technical creators who want to explain maths, physics and engineering topics on video. Example videos cover the Pythagorean theorem, compound interest, the Doppler effect, cell division and how GPS works.

The user types what they want to teach, and AnimoX chats back like a director, asking a couple of questions about length, look and voice, or simply proceeding on request. It generates Manim animations with bundled runtimes, so there is nothing else to install: no Python, Manim, FFmpeg or AI command-line tools. Rendering happens locally on the user's machine, each scene appears the moment it is ready, and the best AI model is picked automatically through hosted credit-based routing.

The result is one editable file rather than a set of clips, ready to share. Changes are made by chatting: asking for a punchier title alters only that part of the video. Text can be written in any language, and the narration and subtitles follow it; a specific narration language can also be requested. A typical one-minute video takes about three minutes to produce, exporting is always free, and finished videos may be published, used for teaching or sold.

AnimoX runs on a Mac with macOS 13 or later or on a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC. A free tier gives 200 signup credits, about one narrated video, and may queue at busy times. Starter costs $20 a month, or $10 a month billed at $120 annually, for 2,000 credits; Pro is $40 ($20 yearly) for 6,000 credits; Team is $80 ($40 yearly) for 18,000 credits. Lifetime access is also offered, and failed generations are not charged.
